Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Vondal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
