History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Dariff abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
