History: Thiala was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. History: Marbas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
