His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bulzo is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Bulzo was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Vadania was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Vadania never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
