His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. After coming to the age of reason, Raymond took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
