History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. History: He was born into a rich family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Erias's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He takes great joy in being the best Scribe in town.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting orcs, the young Akta began to lead the lost caravan. She has achieved small success as a Ruler.
