History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Being a Masseuse kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Vadania hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she is unsatisfied with her job
