Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for her, and Jillian does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jillian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Jillian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. Cockaby was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Layabout. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. A gifted student she started as a Map Maker, but she got bored and became a Seamstress. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and to reunite with her absent father
