Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Althaea was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Shadow learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
