Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Richard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: With tan face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She has brown hair. Her eyes are red.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Anakis lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother
