History: Marastyr lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the east were limited. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and a strong sense of loyalty to gnomish people
