History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
