History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
