Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Phann was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Phann's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Scribe, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
