History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Jade liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Trey grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Trey. He has worked as a Tanner like his mother before him.

History: Born in the west to a Bellfounder, Silent learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Bricklayer, but he got bored and became a Bellfounder. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
