History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Tethren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tethren. He has taken up work as a Mayor and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: Shadow lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.
