History: Born in the east to a Carter, Chaedi learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Salanop was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Puyet does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
