History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Sellsword for the past few years.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Astaro took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up nunchaku and armor she uses now. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
