History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Shifting has worked very hard to control his curse. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Gesrethe and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Mortician but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
