History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Diggory grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Diggory. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
