Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She uses divination through singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Abalaba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Abalaba took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family.
