History: Cloud was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in shield use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and to be a dyer again

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Soapmaker. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Mardnab lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
