History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She was born into a rich family. While she appears to be a normal Dragonborn, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: Maynild hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Maynild grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
