Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Jo embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She is a Chromatic Dragon in disguise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Reirak is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He tends to his Adventurer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Fallthra lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Fallthra took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and seeks redemption

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
