History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
