Personality: Chem is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Chem was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Chem and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to clean up the streets

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Healer born in the past three hundred years. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born into a rich family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she tends to wear a large pastel jacket. Her lavender fur is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was born in the west. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and balancing her hectic life and new soapmaker responsibilities is difficult
