She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. During her travels, Ownka and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ownka discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
