History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
