Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rael embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Rael hails from a village terrorized by brigands. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Rael was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Keyleth was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
