He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for her, and Oda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Nalaed never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
