History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emeny does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
