History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Akmen's homeland. Akmen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Akmen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Mason arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Bryseis liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
