History: Kâka hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Kâka was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Eberdeb was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
