History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has done her best to style her golden hair to look like a famous performer. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to be a shipwright again
