Gimgen Trueblood, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This light-skinned male wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a brown coat. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His tied-back hair is black. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.
Personality: Gimgen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gimgen is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gimgen grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Glassblower they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to protect his home
Ideals: Disciplined, Justice. Bonds: Adventurer, Family, Guardian. Occupation: Performer
Voice: Uses lots of figures of speech
