History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Nutae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nutae. He now owns his own business.
