History: Gale was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
