History: Born in the north to a Barrister, Valorean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Through the years after Srorthen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Srorthen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
