History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Valanthe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Valanthe was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to gnolls.
