Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has shaved his head bald. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Lewis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Lewis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Lewis decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He carries with him a set of pickaxes, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a greatsword on her belt. Her hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. She has several tiny opal earrings on each ear.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This woman prefers to wear flannel, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Sporting a black mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. This violet eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is a Beggar first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Mara is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
