Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Healer and was forced into it by her family; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Huru grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Skak was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the west were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Gardener for the past few years.
