History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Elysande was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

History: Igden was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are silver and catlike.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Skamos is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Skamos hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
