History: Astaro hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Sumnes lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Emerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Emerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
