Description: 5'8" and muscular, this northern man wears pastel painted combat armor at almost all times. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length lavender fur. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for him, and Smoking does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Smoking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Keth lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Bounty Hunter. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Zepar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
