History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Conrad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Conrad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by her family.
