Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gurdis was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and seeks redemption
