She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kithri was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At some point she was captured by goblins and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Spear never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
