History: Zephan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Merchant and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Jacoba was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
