History: Torinn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Torinn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Torinn decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
