Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. A freak accident while working with her Bricklayer father left her crippled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Herbalist and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent father

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
